Our Team

Dr. Freeman is a native of Plano, Texas.  She is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia.  She received her doctor of optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry.  She practiced for several years in Houston before relocating to Savannah with her husband, John.  After working as an associate in private practice for 7 years, Dr. Freeman opened Savannah Family Eye Care in 2022.  She has a passion for personalized eye care, and she especially enjoys working with children.  When Dr. Freeman isn’t in the office, you can find her baking, watching college football, or visiting the Forsyth Farmers’ Market with her daughter Hattie and son Tate.
